When we say 'we’ll be right with you', we really do mean it — our experienced team provide coverage for cinema sites of all sizes throughout the UK and Ireland. We offer overlapping coverage, so if your regular service engineer is working elsewhere there’s a colleague available to meet your needs if time is of the essence — and if you’re off screen, it always is.

DARREN BRIGGS
Engineering Manager, York
Darren's career has spanned a range of telecoms and AV roles, starting his life in cinemas back in 1999 for City Screen (now Picturehouse Cinemas). During digital deployment, he was instrumental in training hundreds of projectionists nationwide.

Based in Dunfermline, Pete is our human encyclopaedia on projection technology. A cinema engineer for 21 years, he is our Trinnov audio specialist.

Based in Bungay, Tony is an experienced Omnex engineer and considered our expert wireman — he creates order out of chaos in any installation.

Support Engineer, Sussex
Based in Worthing, Kris has held technical theatre and cinema roles for over 10 years. Based in the south-east, he also calibrates MPS’s ATMOS QC theatres.

DANNY LOVERIDGE
Warehouse Supervisor, Aylesbury
At Arts Alliance Media since 2011, Danny started as a warehouse assistant and now manages Omnex’s warehousing and logistics — if it’s heading out to cinemas Danny handles it.

Cinema Engineer, South West
Formerly the Technical Manager of Merlin Cinemas, Blade has been working in cinemas since 1997, joining Omnex in 2022

GEOFF NEWITT
Service engineer, Oxford
Formerly head of tech ops at Picturehouse, where he oversaw digital rollout, Geoff has worked in projection rooms since his student days. Having worked closely with them for a decade, Geoff joined the AA UK Cinema team in 2018.

JOHN CASWELL
Service engineer, Liverpool
John has been a field engineer for more than a decade — prior to that, he was chief projectionist for FACT in Liverpool.

NIGEL PRIEST
Asst Engineering Manager, W. Midlands
Nigel's first roll in cinema was as an usher at UCI Cinemas — he quickly progressed, joining Arts Alliance Media as a digital cinema engineer in 2006, helped roll out digital projectors for the UK Film Council.
